Followed by Praying for Revival: a Hybrid prayer time praying for moves the Holy Spirit, leading to Revival – Saturday, March 28, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Across the Church today, many sense that something more is needed. Faithful ministry continues, and churches remain active, yet beneath the surface, there is a deeper hunger. Many are longing for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit that renews hearts, awakens congregations, and brings real transformation to communities.
Igniting Revival in Your Congregation is an equipping gathering designed to meet that hunger.
This event is not merely about having a powerful personal experience, though an encounter with the Holy Spirit is central. It is intentionally designed to equip individuals and teams to bring revival back to their local church. Participants will be trained, formed, and encouraged to help create healthy, prayerful spaces where the Holy Spirit is welcomed and revival can begin to take root in congregational life.
WHAT THIS GATHERING IS ABOUT
Revival has always begun with ordinary people responding faithfully to God. Throughout Scripture and church history, outpourings of the Holy Spirit have come where prayer, repentance, expectancy, and obedience converged. When these outpourings become sustained and widespread, they often lead to seasons of awakening that reshape not only churches, but society itself.
Igniting Revival in Your Congregation is about learning to cooperate with Jesus in this process.
Over the course of the gathering, participants will:
- Develop a clear, biblical understanding of revival and why it matters in this moment
- Explore the phases of revival and how congregations can recognize and respond to them
- Participate in corporate prayer and ministry that model what revival-focused gatherings can look like
- Discern how Jesus is calling and anointing individuals and teams to steward revival wisely
- Receive prayer and empowerment from the Holy Spirit for what God is asking them to carry home
A GATHERING DESIGNED TO BE REPRODUCED LOCALLY
A defining feature of this time is that the event itself serves as a model churches can adapt.
The gathering’s rhythm intentionally mirrors what many congregations could host:
- Thursday evening sets vision and creates space to encounter the Holy Spirit together
- Friday focuses on providing a foundation for bringing an event to your congregation, looking at the preparation ad follow up that would be needed.
- Friday evening and Saturday provide a sample event that could be brought to a local congregation, small group, or campus ministry.
- Saturday evening concludes with a dedicated prayer event
WHY YOU SHOULD COME AS A TEAM
Revival is rarely sustained by individuals acting alone. Moves of the Spirit take root when small groups share vision, prayer, and responsibility. Coming as a team builds unity, clarity, and confidence to take next steps together.
BRINGING THIS BACK TO YOUR CHURCH
Participants are encouraged to think intentionally about how to apply what they’ve received. This may include hosting revival gatherings, forming prayer teams, or creating regular spaces for worship and prayer that welcome the Holy Spirit.
WHO THIS GATHERING IS FOR
This gathering is for pastors, leaders, intercessors, teams, and anyone sensing God’s invitation to contend for renewal.
EVENT OFFERING
Events at the Community of the Cross operate on a faith basis. There is no registration or tuition fee.
Instead, offerings will be received at the event. These will be used towards the cost of food and administration, and to advance our mission of equipping people to cooperate with the Holy Spirit.
You are welcome to come, no matter what you donate. Typically, donations of around $300 per person would cover PRMI’s costs for running this event. However, we encourage you to pray and seek guidance from the Lord about any offering you might give.
Come expectant. Come ready. Let’s seek the Lord together for fresh outpourings of His Spirit on our churches and congregations.
LODGING & FOOD
You are responsible for breakfast and lodging costs. The event includes dinner on day one, followed by lunch and dinner each day until the end of the event. Once you are accepted, we can provide a list of local accommodations. Options include hotels in Black Mountain, Airbnb (often a more affordable choice for groups), and Craigmont Camp (nearby, often has available space).
HOW TO REGISTER
